Khaled Issa

Egyptian baritone Khaled Issa is a Master of Music candidate at the Royal Northern College of Music, studying under Quentin Hayes. His studies are generously supported by the Sawiris Arts and Culture Scholarship and the Alice Orrell and A&N Kendall Award. Following his graduation, he will return to the RNCM to pursue a Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Studies.

A former accountant and bass guitarist, Khaled began his vocal journey under Sobhi Bidair, later joining the Cairo Opera Company and appearing as a guest soloist with the Cairo Symphony Orchestra and Bibliotheca Alexandrina. A recent finalist for the Frederic Cox Award for Singing and first-prize winner of the Williams-Howard Memorial Prize, he was recently selected for the Pegasus Opera Company cohort 2026.
