This June, I’m happy to be performing on the RNCM Opera Theater for the Summer Opera Scenes 26. I shall be exploring two contrasting roles from the core operatic repertoire: the boastful Sergeant Belcore in Donizetti’s L’elisir d’amore and the nuanced Frédéric in Delibes’ Lakmé.

Working alongside his colleagues at the Royal Northern College of Music, these scenes offer a deep dive into the comedic wit of Italian bel canto and the lush romanticism of French opera. It is always a privilege to share the stage with such talented collaborators and dear friends in RNCM.
